So..... Let me get this right.

They fitted them hoping that you wouldnt notice - but you have.

They now plan to take them off and re-fit some real DBA's next week.

They now have some used (although minimal) RDA slotted rotors that they are going to sell to the next poor bugger that comes in looking for rotors...

POOR FORM!

And mechanics wonder why they have a bad name and why most people think they are often getting ripped off by mechanics.

Mate, they are NOT DBA's... and $360 for a pair is pretty cheap if they were DBA's...

But, again, as said - NO they are not DBA's...

Look on your invoice, if they say "DBA's" then take the car back, if it just says "rotors"... then you might be up that creek...

I've supplied a few 4000's S and XS to a few of the guys here, and can confirm they will all have "DBA" stamped on the rotors...

Sorry bud!

Best of luck but...

just says rotors on the invoice, but that is beside the point, he was told to put on dba rotors and he didnt.

Im a sparky and if someone asks for down lights to be put in and I put in fluros cause I didnt have downlights is that acceptable?

Was not from a mechanic was from a certain francise muffler store. If I knew that I couldnt machine the rotors I woulda replaced the rotors myself

Gave them the part number dba42107sl and sr to oreder in. They are the 4000's?

Supposedly they'll be in in the morning so hopefully I can finally get them fitted 2moro night and have it all over and done with

On a slightly different note, has anyone tried the slotted and cross drilled DBA 4000's?

I had just the slotted DBA's on my previous car but thinking about trying these. Any feedback would be appreciated.
