Greetings all,

ive been using united boost 98 with my old nfII 5.0 and it runs good, no problems.

Now has anyone consistently run this fuel with a bf mkII turbo? any thoughts/issues/gains on it?I currently run caltex vortech98

I only ever put in BP Ultimate.

The 2 times I had no choice but to put in United 98 into mine there was very noticable pinging. Not good, I stay away from it now.

I had 300zx tuned to bp98. put boost98 (contains 10% ethanol mind you) a few times over a few months, every time I used it, car coughed and didnt like it ;/

100 octane from united though. that's a winner!

yeah,im not buying the 'e10 compatible' on the fuel filler cap..

however at my local united there is a premium 98 with no ethanol, boost 98 & the 100 contain ethanol for anyone interested

I will try the premium(non ethanol) 98 next fill and post up..my car is stock so I doubt I would see any difference)

I haven't seen Boost 98 for a few years here in Melbourne. I used to use it (headsex tuned) and it ran pretty well but 10% less mileage. United switched to the normal 98 called Premium98 and still ran ok. They started the Premium100 which is also great.

I no longer use United though as she still runs smoother on BP Ultimate.

I'm tuned on bp 98, but I usually put mobil 98 cause it's closer and on my way when goin out.. Also a bit cheaper.. However pretty much all the mobils have changed to 7/11, I'm not too keen to try them out?
