OK, Following on from the "Whats the bigest load youve had in your ute", I was inspired by some pictures of a car transporter in china that a mate sent me to do a "whats your bigest towing effort" thread. (How can they make things for half the price - for starters, put twice as many cars on a car transporter).

also saw the pics of a ef falcon towing a landcruiser that went badly wrong.

Trailer Towing the Einstein way.... - Page 5 - PerformanceForums

pics have unfortunatly been removed but hopfully they will resurface. (the land cruiser was tied down with string through the front wheel - seriously, string!!!!)

I just got a 13x6 foot box trailer (biger than my ute) so I'll need to see what I can load up in that (on private property of course.

That would have been with bunnings rope. :spoton:

I have towed 16 swimming pools on a truck and trailer combo.23 metres long,5 metres high and 4.6 metres wide. Some times it can be 5.2 metres high and you can have plenty of pucker momments when driving in suburben areas where powerlines, bridges and phone lines are everywhere. :spoton: I have been known to keep telstra busy fixing un maintained phone lines. :icon_ford:

Hemp rope about 32mm, lots of stretch so it's easier on the clutch. The tow rope gets hidden every time the safety chick comes anywhere near the workshop.

Towed a vibrating roller with a D6 and had to get a 200hp tractor to keep the D6 straight, bloody steep road that one.
