Hi fellas, thanks for the feedback.

I have only done around 60km... I am at my nieces birthday tonight. My other brother took it out and drove it like he stole it!!!

My brother has a mate who has a HSV that he has spent 5k working on the engine and his mate was raving about how he beats all the other holdens he races against. My brother drove his car and thought it was quick but after driving this, he says the G6E turbo would eat it up.

I cant wipe the smile from my face and everybody that has driven it just cant believe how quick it is... and this is before it has even been run in. Even my Mrs loves it, even though she keeps a close eye on the speedo!!!

T

Very nice Harry :buttonit:

Any pics of your cardigan?

( I just tell people I've got a falcon, trying to explain a bunch of letters and numbers to the general population is a punish)

lol...so true. Even to the point I still get "how's your ute going" "yeah all good"

Harry you`ll also find the boot large enough to fit all the bowls gear and then some, also the rear parcel shelf easily accommodates several bowls hats, I have a spare hat that I display 24/7, I wear my other hat when driving to and from bowls.

The air con is great too, it allows you not matter what the weather, to wear your cardigan all year round, Ford really have thought of everything !

Yes well I didnt get time to buy the bowls cap and cardigan as the car was delivered a week early but I will be going shopping this morning for appropriate attire!!!

One of my brothers is trying to get his wife to agree to getting one. The main sticking point is that she doesn't want him to get cardigan and hat but I told her its a package, all or nothing.

...and your slippers too :spoton: Have also now fitted silicon joiners on the walking frame so there's no longer any rattling from the boot either.

You seem to be a master in the art of attire and techniques for the old men who purchase these cars.... I shall need some tutoring from you master :spoton:

Most people dont know what a G6e Turbo is, heathens.

Seriously, if Ford want market penetration, they really need to get the market to know the name of their cars, half the job of getting a sale is market recognition.

:dontknow: I do agree its like ego m11, I just say new faimont ghia with a turbo instead of v8 more power less petrol, highly recomended v8 drivers spend a couple of days behind the wheel of a turbo falcon  . The smile takes a while 2 leave your face. :yes-sir: . :dontknow::3gears:
