Oh of course ODBII...wish my damn XCAL3 would log straight to the device instead of me requiring a laptop connected to the XCAL3 and reading the values through it :/ Battery doesn't last long enough!

Yeah I have the old GTech meter also...so you guys reckon they are pretty spot on?...I might dust it off and give it a go...though from memory it has to sit totally flat and you have to be on a flat road to get an accurate reading???...have you guys used it to work out power after inputting weight data?

The iphone gmeter application I have is the "BMW M Power Meter"...though I havent really tested it out yet...

The series 1 unit is simple to use and works well.Have it securely mounted to the screen, Find a nice flat piece of road and set the level on the unit to 0.00 and then procede with your test. They are reasonabley accurate. The HP feature also works well if the correct vehicle weight inc driver is entered.Get a weighbrige slip and add the drivers weight to it.Tested this against a chassis dyno years ago and the varation was only 5rwhp.But remember,if you put BULLsh*t IN YOU GET BULLsh*t OUT!
