The black dyno doesn't lie, and is the only true one I trust, however its hard/impossible with IRS cars, and small tyres cars in general to show their true potential on a black top dyno as rarely do you get an optimal pass, especially with big power. I'm not a fan of dyno figures, dyno queens and all the like, unfortunately that is what a lot of customers are interested in and shoot for, so as a workshop we obviously oblige.

I have heard of the VL you speak of, all I can say it it either doesn't have 98 in the tank, or weighs absolutely sweet f*ck all :roflmbo: Stout achievement in anyones language. We went 10.0@129 on radials and E85 in Ollies VL, I know how hard it is.:beerchug:

6BOOST

It took over 18 months to get there, it is 98 octane, bought up the road from Calder. If I had C16 in it I'd like to be at least a second quicker. We will be back for more next year, a few small changes under our belt hoping for more mph even though we are still not achieving ideal 60 foot. The car is capable of a 9.6 in theory. The car is a stock base model, it's not dragging around electric windows and power steer but otherwise is pretty much untouched.

I reckon your 60 foot must be somewhat better than ours given your mph.
