It was a hell of a lot of work though, I would highly advise against it for anyone paying a shop to do it, or don't expect change from $2500 with the manifold and rail fitted. It did give a nice improvement both in bottom end, and more so power all the way to redline (an extra 500rpm). Our hiflow injectors are about the same size as Seimens 80lb'ers with better spray pattern and work nicer on the stock ecu as you don't have to worry about dead times etc being any different, they just seem to run nicer than aftermarket injectors. You can make around 1000rwhp on petrol and 750 on E85 with them.6BOOST

If you enlarge the holes on the injectors director plate you effectively have increased the fuel flow during the injectors deadtime. At low fuel flow the deadtime makes a significant contribution to fuel delivered, particuarly with large injectors SO I disagree.....you should still account for the difference otherwise you end up with a false low slope. Not trying to be negative but addressing the change correctly will get the best out of the injector! btw are these precision drilled or have they had a new director plate fitted? We all know you can make huge numbers on the stock manifold whats the big deal? Sure an equal length is the way to go but it is way down on the list of mods to do. Not trying to be negative but addressing the change correctly will get the best out of the injector! btw are these precision drilled or have they had a new director plate fitted?Well I am not the tuning wizard of this outfit, so I will let jamie chime in when he gets a chance and give a better description of the pro's and cons, suffice to say that my ute was run with 60lb deka's for 18 months, and the driveability has never been better since switching them out for hiflowed stockers. I have to say that for someone like Nizpro to use hiflowed injectors, there has to be merit to the cause, not that I sondone their injectors, I don't like drilled injectors in the slightest, and our injectors are not drilled in any way, how they are modified is a secret that will remain with us! My belief in hiflowing the stock injectors is not one of trying to flog the product, they simply work, PJ's quick bits does great ones as well, buy them off him if you think its a self promotion, we just prefer them, to each his own.wasn't this thread about the standard EXHAUST manifold? Its simple really, I made good power on a stock manifold, so people were interested in the supporting mods to achieve it. But I agree that its getting far off track, so lets get back to the topic at hand Who's got some notable cars/power figures/times from a stock manifold out there?6BOOST

Looks like it MIGHT be possible, especially with E85
