Faaark!

Minimal mods for the power figure...

No change to Cat or fuel pump?

Be interesting to see what she runs. Good luck!

Given adding a surge tank / 044 and no cat and the boost level - the pump fuel figure (373 kw) is not that unbelievable and isnt particularly ground breaking. I would say that others would have hit that mark with similar mods before / would expect similar power with those mods... I mean, you have all the mods needed to make high 300's on an F6 motor.

The only thing that most others may need to do that you havent done would be the flapper mod on the turbo, your using an FG plenum (proven at big power) instead of an aftermarket plenum and maybe a bigger dump / exhaust configuration.

Obviously on the E85, its a bit of a different story and the power is huge...

As mentioned - Be interesting to see what MPH and time it runs though.

I haven't heard of too many people making 380rwkw with the stock cat back exhaust, but there is certainly no problems with doing it, nothing we have done is rocket science. I urge EVERYONE to try E85 after our results, it is absolutely phenominal in the falcon 6, which is largely power limited due to knock limitations. 24 hours and we will have our answer though!

What do you mean about on an F6 motor? they are the same?

By F6 motor, I mean you can lean on it a little in comparison to an earlier BA engine.

Maybe your right - maybe there arent that many running 380 odd rwkw with the stock cat back exhaust...

Not taking nothing away from it though - obviously a jump of 80 - 90 rwkw from a different fuel and 3 psi more boost is pretty bloody awesome!

Good luck at the track!

Good stuff Kyle, looking forward to seeing what times it does, as for E85 pump fuel we're still waiting for some pumps over in W.A, will be looking to make similar power with my 35/40 with T04z internals!!

That's an awesome result. I wouldn't mind getting an E85 tune Shame only one servo I know of that has it though

Well I had a mixed bag of results tonight at the drags, culminating in a not very happy auto. the car ran 2x 11.1's@129mph, and a 11.3 with wheelspin off the line with high 1.8 to 2.0 60's. What was annoying was that the mph looks like it matches the time and would just indicate a lower power level, but it just seemed "off" while going down the track, "flat" if you will.

Last pass told the full story, as I watched the tacho sit on 6000rpm for about 3 seconds before feeling it drop into fourth, then felt like I'd hit a 200 shot of gas at the 1000ft mark. Seems its just slipping its head off and sitting on the soft cut limiter and killing off the power. Heading home told the full story, when I cam onto the highway I gave it some herbs in 3rd and shifted into 4th and it free revved then dropped into gear from about 5500rpm with an almightly thump :surrenderwave:

It drives perfectly off boost and shifts perfectly, but just isn't right with 460kw up its clacker. Many, including us have made more power than this with no issues, we went 10.5@135.8 in Rolly's car with a stock 6 speed. One thing I put it down to was an inexperienced mechanic changing my oil over to tranzmax Z for me when I was too busy to do it myself, and not filling it to the full make with the engine running. Took 3 days to realise it was super low on oil and that's always been in the back of my mind.

Oh well, out it comes and off to Rob for a good tickle :beerchug:
