Anyone know where I can order the idle pulley bearing online? I pulled it off and repacked it but the seals on the bearing were all cracked and breaking up. Little bits of plastic where falling off everywhere. I put it back together but I want to replace it for a new if its only $25. Picked up the belt from supercheap for $50. Gonna chuck that on with a new bearing. How long does a belt usually last? I just thought I would replace because its done 100K and is 7 years old now.

If you use a socket you can push that bearing out and get one for about $5 from a bearing shop. As you can tell I like to repair things the old fashion way. But for effort free replacement buy a genuine. If you call ford they'll order one for you you dont need part numbers...

I changed both pulleys (idle and tensioner) today and was pretty easy to do. Pulleys and bearings were $25 and $31 from repco and I also put a new belt on which I'm glad I did because I found a decent crack in the old one. This link was handy as it tells you how to replace the belt. I took the fans out like he says too and it makes it much easier.
