Fg Xr6T 4" Dump And High Flow Cat

Hi all,

I was just hoping to get some advice.

I have just put a 4" dump and high flow cat on my ute.

I was not aware at the time of overboost!!

Its going in for a tune on tuesday.

I was giving it a bit last night and it was going nuts then it died in the arse (limp mode)

Drove it this morning and it was fine so have I done any damage or has the computer just shut down last night before anything could happen?????? Im paranoid its seems to be fine though, obviously no more thrashing till I get the tune on tuesday.

Engine isnt making any knocking noises? you might of been lucky dude. Get your tuned to have a quick look

should be ok mate, would be unlucky if you did damage.

you should be fine, just don't go over 2500rpm, had my car tuned once with a boost leak at 14psi then found leak fixed it major overboost 20+psi nearly killed tuner who put everthing on car, split rubber connecter after throttle body, drove 3 weeks with it hardest thing to do without sticking it. just becareful and drive like a nanna.
