Hey guys,

I'm wanting to swap out my standard bonnet / rear boot spoiler on a black F6 with those from a GT.

Fibre Sports have the spoiler and I want to know are the 3 holes in the boot the same width as the F6 spoiler? I'd also have to get it painted so I'm thinking it might be cheaper to buy it direct from ford. Is this possible, and if so how much are they?

Same deal with the bonnet. Awcinfo have a few but I'd have to get them painted and I'm quite particular in keeping the car panels exactly the same colour.

Any advice appreciated!

Cheers...

I think I'd be going down to the dealer's armed with a tape measure.....or wait till you spot another GT somewhere....or call up Fibresports and ask for the dimensions.

Fibresports stuff isn't to bad but remember it's all just fibreglass so if your gonna' paint it black you'll have to do some decent preparation because any blemish will stick out like dog's balls..... :roflmbo:

Other than that, any reputable paint shop shouldn't have a drama with it.

While I can see why some would do this to a 'normal' Typhoon, I'd have reservations about doing this to a more exclusive model like an R Spec.

Just make sure you store the stock bars and bonnet somewhere safe so you can return it to original when you want to sell it.

It'd be worth a lot more with it's stock panels..... :roflmbo:

I wouldn't ruin a good Phoon plus,

Loose it all together, would look damn sexy spoton.gif

and for the record R-SPEC's seem to hold there value marginally better then a normal model so I would worry to much about that.
