EDIT,just noticed your location... cold south island air won't fog up a car like hot humid QLD mate ! I had no problem in scotland keeping a foggy window at bay but here it can be a nightmare in the pissing rain ! Edited 13/10/10 05:47 AM by RHR No need to quote above post. It amazes me the length the CRC folk will go to to deny any problems... no recall and never has been aparently ! so, we'll see how we go from here as my 10 yr old pajero is like an igloo and this 3wk old xr6t is tepid at best...not happy with ford customer(lack of)care service... I doubt Ford CRC ever divulge that info otherwise it'd cost them a sh*tload more in warranty claims if people go looking for problems. But still that's irrelevant, not real helpful in getting it fixed. What dealer fobbed you off? Up the sunshine coast?

Fraud just said 'It needs regassing' & topped it up. Within a few weeks it had turned sh*t again. It was at XFT getting some work done & Simon found the aircond unit spraying fluid out the front. (you had to remove the front bar to see it)Straight back to Ford & was told it's a 'known problem' & it was fixed under warranty. WTF? Why didn't they know about it the first time?Has worked fine ever since though.

"... now , how hard was it for the Spastific Ford to do a swap over test ??? Edited 14/10/10 12:00 AM by rab
