As to the price the XR8 Was alleasy about 3 or 4 grand more than the XR6T (correct me if I am misslead).When I had my last XR6T mates would talk down to me and say its a pitty its not a V8 etc, but everything I have ever read has questioned why the XR8 was there, as the 6T was better all round, except for the exhaust noise! This leaves a big enough hole to squeeze in an NA xr8 at 310kw. The F6's power will also increase to 320, allowing the xr6/g6e to come up to 290 or so.There will be a big party, Ford will trumpet that the mighty xr8 is back with power increases across the range and everyone will buy one who can't afford a GS and want a v8 rumble.
