Now wondering what the thoughts are on the G6ET vs XR6T.Not meaning to start a 'war', but to try to focus on particular things:1. handling (esp given the XR6 has the LSD, and the G6E doesn't)2. acceleration (in gear and 0-100)3. NVHSaw a 50th Anniv G6ET in Ego/Edge and it looked beastly! (in a good way I mean!)btw, what exactly is the difference between the Edge and Ego colour? Personally I'm a fan of the open diff so don't see it as a detriment, it's allot more precise and predictable then the LSD that seems to love a bit of tailslide...which although is exhilarating is not the best for suburban street corners and roundabouts.Acceleration is marginally better in the G-Spec which is I assume from the slightly softer supension/diff setup. Only difference in NVH would again come back to the diff, no whine at 95km/h like 90% of the LSDs out there. If you're just looking for something fairly standard option wise then the G6ET probably doesn't make a great deal of sense, but if you're going to start adding all the optional extras then you're at the same price point (+ you get extras that aren't available on the XR)So it's a no brainer....G6ET (totally unbiased opinion)

satz Member 65 Member For: 18y 7m 29d Posted 14/10/10 10:33 PM Author Share Posted 14/10/10 10:33 PM just a couple of questions about the G6ET....1. what colour is the dash lighting at night? Is it blue like the XR6, or white?2. does the glovebox have a 'damped' motion, or does it just drop, like in the normal Falcons?cheersS
