Guys ,

Is there a huge difference between the BF2 and the BF1 I know the bf2 gets the F6 bottom end, but I wont be modding excessively 260-280 RWKWs. Would a Bf1 be okay for this sort of power?

yeah no probs with sort of pwr, but if you can afford to go bf mk2 go for it as you will get used to the power real quik. then saves you putting better rods and valve springs later on. my first tune on mine was 275rwks lasted 2 months, then spent more for more power, save yourself the headache and get the bf2m that's if cash allows.

Cool , the cash flow allows it, just looked at a immaculate and very well serviced and looked after bfmk1 today and it was very well priced and I thought is it worth it.

2007 FORD FALCON BF Mk II XR6 TURBO - $21,500 - 85,000 kms

Looks like it came with leather from the factory, but base sound/climate control. Still nice though.

2007 FORD FALCON BF Mk II XR6 TURBO - $20,800 - 71,679 kms

Probably an ex-cop, would highly recommend getting it checked first.

2006 FORD FALCON BF Mk II XR6 TURBO - $19,990 - 77,811 kms

Most likely an ex-cop car.

2007 FORD FALCON BF Mk II XR6 TURBO - $21,950 - 74,000 kms

Again, probably ex-cop car.

2008 FORD FALCON BF Mk II XR6 TURBO - $23,500 - 95,000 kms

2008 model with the black inserts on the side skirts and rear bumper, has XR8 wheels and premo sound/dual climate. Has done 95,000 kms where I think the major service is done at 90,000 kms. Bit higher in price than the others, but looks nicer imo.

don't count them out all together, alot of my mates have x cop cars, just get all the checks done make sure it has books. I noticed 1 had 3 years warranty which ain't to bad, just find out what the warranty covers. as long as engine stock warranty should cover everything from turbo, motor, cooling, auto, and everything inbetween, just take your time, just don't count them out. alot of members on here seem to have them.

Agree completely . There are alot of people around with ex patrol cars and have absolutely no issues. Remember, it's not like the cops floor them unless they have to and honestly its probably less than a younger guy who gives it stick all the time. Atleast the government cars get more regular services, no expense spared also. Not to mention you get the better brakes on most of them :) .

Yeah I know , But I have 2 very good mates who are highway patrol officers and they said they wouldnt buy one if you paid them especially city cars, country cars are better (not as many speed humps or gutters or median strips to run over).
