The Bionic one may be the better due to lower k's.In saying that the shockwave one sound to have better options and its a later mod. Yeah the k's are up there but if its good full history then it should be ok

If its a T I would say that is a very good deal, just make sure u go through the car service record at 100k as that's the big one.The other cars seem a bit less trustworthy seeing service is missing and later models etc.

See if you can get the previous owner details, look them up in the white pages and give them a call.Have they been service at the same work shop. If so there could be a records at the particular shop. You may also be able to get some feed back on the car from the mechanic.

Just found out the Bionic car was a council car , and I know that councils service there own cars, with cheap oils etc.The BA was serviced at the dealer that has the BF2 the records stopped after the 45000klm service, they didnt really want to give the info as the BA is directly across the road at another yard.lol The BF2 was $21,990 but when I informed them of the price of the BA it came down to $18990 Edited 07/10/10 06:09 AM by gsd112

At about 60km you could here the Turbo whistle(lol..I'm a noob on T's) kicking in.Is this normal as:1)They are heavy2)Its an auto 3)They run low boost(4psi is standard?)I don't want to mod it as I want it to last past 100KM(other than a exhaust....if that helps??), but what I really wanted to know is the differnece between a BA & BA mark 2? From my reserach, other than mark 2 coming out with a 6sp box on a manual, there is no difference on an auto, that sound about right?

So it's not worth paying extra for a BA2?I read the BF auto(ZF 6sp) is a great box, is it worth paying extra to get one of these(performance wise) even if little or no mods will be done to the engine, or a good BA 4sp box will do in my case?
