Hi,

I have an 04 xr6t - basic mods - pod filter in airbox, 2nd intake, big intercooler.

Question is, I can hear a hell of a lot more induction noise with the new pod, and since installing, have had issues with performance between 2000rpm and 3500rpm... sort of like it 'turns the turbo off' or holds revs - doesnt want to accelerate/rev past 2k unless I floor it. Could this be due to needing a tune?

A friends theory is it could be running rich due to the extra air, therefore there would be more carbon built up on the plugs due to the extra fuel.

Dont want to replace plugs until I can afford $1.5k for a tune if they are just going to get dirty!
