Not really planning to go any more than that, just want an everyday car, nothing with big power.
broke Donating Members 229 Member For: 13y 1m 8d Gender: Male Posted 03/04/12 11:33 AM Share Posted 03/04/12 11:33 AM (edited) mine lurches slightly like variation 1 on the Jag site. only does it when the oil is hot after ive been driving for a bit. it just dumps into first rather than "slip" in like it does every other gear. it doesnt really make any noise or jolt too badly, but it's definitely noticeable. the only thing I can think of is maybe the oil is a bit thin when hot, because first 5 or so minutes of driving it's not noticeable at all. and more so when just about to stop not after ive stopped like the image. yet to get the fluid checked/flushed.EDIT: mechanic/tuner who serviced my car today recommends Transmax over the genuine stuff which I found surprising as 3 other places I contacted all would only use LifeGuard6 (genuine) Edited 03/04/12 11:39 AM by broke

I'm at 410 and ZF is holding up very well, I thought it would have let go way earlier from some of the posts on this forum but so far so good. I just flushed the tranny and replaced the heat exchanger about 5,000 klms ago and will just keep servicing it every 25,000, If it breaks then I'll build it stronger. You can't expect stock components to hold forever with the power we put through them.

And what is the minimum required power level to be eligible for the poll?

One for stock cars and one for modified. I think for the modified poll the minimum power level should be 300kw (450 SAkw)
