The new dash is a lot more attractive IMO but the most important thing is the oil temp guage, it takes forever to get to temp! so far its taken 3 to 4 times longer to reach temp then the engine temp. Im hoping the slow warm up time is just the "running in oil" used in new engines other wise its a pain in the ass to wait all that time. I need to do some research in regards to safe oil temp when putting the boot in.

Dont know for sure if this dash will fit in a XR6T. Speaking of XR6, I drove one tonight, N/A model, found it lacked low down grunt ( compared to my old G6 ) but the top end was better then the G6. Simply cannot beat forced injection though.

Will post some accurate times for oil temp warm up if any ones interested

Should be Exactly the same shouldn't it? blink.gif

And I thought as long as you have oil pressure then oil temp isn't that important, as engine will overheat first? If you have adequate oil and your cars not rooted how does it overheat?

Very strange this.

I followed the link to Tony's pic and then did a quick search on Hotrods and blow me, there was my old Hotrod Anglia that I sold(huge mistake) before moving to Oz. It took three years to put together 302 Ford V8. See Pic.

Looks good with the tint, I've always tinted all my cars without fail.

Interestingly enough one of the biggest things that I'm looking forward to when I hopefully pick up my car next week sometime is tinted windows, currently I drive a work car and they don't get tint on them, on 40C days it really does make a massive difference to the inside temp of the car.
