Car was more fun to drive. has 10000x more steering response and actually feels like you are driving a car. Downside is wtf at the interior. Welcome to 1995 that sh*t was terrible. But I didnt squeak so +1 there lol.I dno what this driveline shunt is, its not that bad its just something that anooys me. The dif bushes were just done so what else can cause it ? Subframe bushes ? I have no idea.Maybe I just miss having my drift car lol. Its kinda hard to go in between having something daily and something that is track worthy.my 180 had full stripped interior coilovers front and rear swaybars all new bushes. t28 fmic pod with 3" intake and a 3" exhaust off the turbo with no mufflers. Obviously It wasnt there for a daily but it was there purely to be abused. and it loved it lol Edited 04/10/10 03:21 AM by scottay

scottay Member 366 Member For: 14y 9m 11d Posted 04/10/10 04:03 AM Author Share Posted 04/10/10 04:03 AM Because my POS 180 was 21 years old.Had the standard motor, never missed abeat took a beating and I never had issues with dashs creeking in that ?I also ran a 2way in it and I never had any driveline clunk during normal driving. Until the button clutch went in.That car never gave me 1 problem ran over 200rwkw + sat on limiter most of its life and I go and spend a heap of cash on a car with 40k and it I have this sh*t. Did you buy brand new ??I upgraded from a 33 gtst and a 180 (ca18 though) to a fg t And would never go back to an import, unless it's a 34 or 35 gtr.Maybe take a fg for a spin, huge difference from the b series IMO

Guest XR09 Guests Posted 04/10/10 04:46 AM Share Posted 04/10/10 04:46 AM Easy .... Its a diff that is made to take a fair bit of punishment, at a cheap price for Ford. Huge tollerances, poor build quality and no NVH protection to be seen anywhere. Replace diff with Tremac or Kaaz. Replace diff bush and tail shaft. It will probably move up into the gearbox then lol
scottay Member 366 Member For: 14y 9m 11d Posted 04/10/10 05:10 AM Author Share Posted 04/10/10 05:10 AM (edited) well its going back again. Got 3 months warrenty from the caryard faggots. For example if I hold 2nd gear at like 2500. then plant it to say 4500 and back off ill get a small thud. Sounds like some bushes are gone somewhere. They said they fixed the dif bushes last time but I dont care im sooo over it . FIX MY FKN CAR!!Brand new car 40k on the clock and it does this sh*t.180 - 21 years old clutch dumped / kicked with a full brass button clutch and handbrake being pulled up at like 140 and it never had a knock in the rear end.gg fordId expect some rear end clunking from a manual if it had been abused. But from an auto cmonnnn Edited 04/10/10 05:21 AM by scottay

I've learned not to flog a 1.8ton car and back off the throttle suddenly in ball tearing second gear, unless I want the Ford rear end to sound like a bolt is missing! I agree it sounds and feels AWFUL but I will live with the design choice (and flogged out centre bush).
