Guest PhilH Guests Posted 12/11/03 07:41 AM Share Posted 12/11/03 07:41 AM Hi PhilH. The Herrod distributor in NZ is Paul ?????? Ford in a place called Tamaranui, according to an ad I read they have all the Herrod bits. Thanks for that, I found out a week or so back about Paul Issac Ford, and Paul actually phoned me today. They certainly do have the Herrod stuff, along with a range of other bits and pieces (Paul is e-mailing me their catalog). Paul also mentioned they have an excellent third party grill, for about half the price (around $116 unfitted, $150 fitted) so he is sending me some photos of that. The third party one is plain (I.e. no logo) which is what I wanted. Will let you know how it goes.

Falchoon I put the FPV badge on the grille because 2 FORD ovals on the front would look a bit ordinary and an FPV badge looks a hell of a lot better than an Advert for Herrods. But then again this car has been one of the biggest motoring dissapointments of my life and will metamorphisise into a black GT-P on Mon 20th after Ford fit a new diff on Thurs 18th. I just gotta have one of them dirty stinking big black Late model camira slappers. I have lost my faith in any long term reliability with this first series of turbos

I will give Mcinerney a buzz. I would prefer a grille without any logo...will check it out.

Paul is going to e-mail me some pics in the next few days, will post them up upon receipt.I believe that Paul gets them made locally, so freighting to Australia could get expensive. Happy to post his e-mail if you wish to contact him directly.

It comes sooo close to fitting it aint funny. It is made out of plastic, and the style nearly matches the grille on the T's. So far it looks ok, my only problem so far is securing it.Hopefully I might have a pic next week.

Still searching for alternatives.....ps no, no news for the squealing brakes on the premiums yet, as soon as I hear, ill post. Other members on the forum will probably hear about it before I will!
