Best to dyno it mate. Theres no ifs or buts on a dyno.

Let us know how u go, I'll put $5 its not 420 :-)

I think your right... If I get a xcal3 can I have a few different tunes from different people And use them all?

Would not mind getting another one fro me somewhere else with a good rep to compare the 2 and see the diff

The only tunes you can use is whatever is current and tuned accordingly to your modifications recently ie, exhaust upgrade etc.

Otherwise it wont be safe on your engine.

no way 420 there!

lets SAY you somehow get a 1.60 with the zf which is VERY hard to do, that takes .8 sec of your 1/4, givin you about low 11s. a BF with 390rwkw and a 1.66-1.74 60" should run a high 10. you with 421....easy 10. Try go to a non hub dyno and watch the numbers drop through the driveline.

*Beep* and his constant need to bring the hub dyno's power figures in to question... Why is that *Beep*????

lets just get a couple of things straight...

1. Yes a hub dyno can read higher than rollers but not 50+rwkw

2. This car ran low mph for its previous 370rwkw on the rollers

Why does the reason for the poor mph keep coming back to over inflated figures and not the need for someone to look for a problem with the car... Boost leak???

I think I agree with ice that hubs are reading higher...

I booked into auto tech next week to see what figure comes up, if it's a poor figure I think I will give spire a go and see what he can do... I'm sick of 12's

I don't know what the problem is.

You should have the power to run a good time.

Here are my results copy and pasted from my thread, based on Jims dyno with my BF with ZF.

wsid 05/03/2008 11.59 sec @129.87 mph 2.069 sec 60' --- 660' 7.68sec 98.63 mph -- straight pump fuel - street trim & 1886kg weight - 21c temp - stock motor & stock 6-speed auto & diff - Toyo tyres

wsid 20/03/2008 11.43 sec @127.87 mph 1.956 sec 60' --- 660' 7.55sec 97.45 mph -- straight pump fuel - street trim & ?????kg weight - 23c temp - stock motor & stock 6-speed auto & diff - MT tyres

wsid 02/04/2008 11.04 sec @128.01 mph 1.751 sec 60' --- 660' 7.19sec 99.76 mph -- straight pump fuel - street trim & ?????kg weight - 23c temp - stock motor & stock 6-speed auto & diff - MT tyres

wsid 07/05/2008 11.01 sec @127.50 mph 1.756 sec 60' --- 660' 7.15sec 101.91 mph -- straight pump fuel - street trim & ?????kg weight - 23c temp - stock motor & stock 6-speed auto & diff - MT tyres - New Tunehouse exhaust

Note: Runs above use straight Shell Vpower racing out of bowser (100 ron)

March 2008 I had around 420 on Jims dyno, May was 440. With around 450-460 I did a a 132mph pass.

I would expect that with around 370 on Jims dyno you'd do a high 11 with around 121 to 123mph, better time with good launch. I found mph can vary 1 to 2 mph for a power level, but is generally indicative of the power level.

A bit of practice under the belt definitely makes a difference, and those March 2008 runs were amongst my first (and slow), around 2 sec 60'.

im just saying that they read hire. Im not here to say what is a true dyno figure and compare apples.

421rwkw only gettting 121mph in a BF? For some reason ive noticed utes pull more power too. BF+FGs always run 5-8mph more then the 4sp auto yet run the same time. So 121mph in a bf .... HIGHLY questionable at 421rwkw
