Brendan XR6-T Member 88 Member For: 15y 2m 22d Gender: Male Posted 28/09/10 09:46 AM Share Posted 28/09/10 09:46 AM Hey fellas..I was driving home this morning when I could here A kind of whizzing sound.When I got home I pulled the intake pipes off to find the rubber joiner that joins the turbo to the standard crossover piping had sh1t itself and split nearly in 2.Im taking punt and saying that apart of the rubber had gone through the blades and slightly bent 1 of the blades. The blade is only slightly bent. Its a shame I didnt think of taking a pic today b4 I went to work but I will upload 1 tomorrow. As I said the blade is only slightly bent about 0.5 - 1mm out but enough to cause the whizzing sound. I believe I could probly starighten the blade with the correct tools but obviously it wouldnt be as true as it was. Has anyone ever tried to straighten a blade and been succesful?? I totally understand that I could be at risk but I'm am weighing up my options dont drive my car for the time it takes me to save up or have a go..Thanks in advance for any help avail. Sounds abit weird to meSpinning at 50000rpm and you throw something into it.... yes it would bend LOLThe rubber is probably sitting in the cooler piping or cooler now.
