our06t Mmmmm......BOOST Member 3,135 Member For: 18y 21d Gender: Male Location: central coast Posted 28/09/10 03:23 AM Share Posted 28/09/10 03:23 AM carby throttle body cleaner is great but deadly, will melt normal paint to water lolthe cross over is very strong paint there's actually a chrome paint or coating under the black to prevent heat getting into the cross over, I use throttle body cleaner but try and avoid the outside areas of the crossover, never had any problems just let it all dry well before putting back together car runs like crap on throttle cleaner. I dunno.. im still not going to use degreaser.. that's for sure... Ill take some photos before and after.. should be a good thread once completed..
