I Know that sounds odd but that's really the sorta shreek it sounded like

Hazey Member 234 Member For: 21y 3m 22d Posted 25/02/11 05:34 AM Author Share Posted 25/02/11 05:34 AM Got a reply from Best Mufflers who do Xforce systems. They said that twin tip will not work on this model due to the higher flow in the high rev range. Now is that because its single into twin? The links I posted above of the SS have single into twin.Waiting on Dillz to reply on what tip he changed too, otherwise I may look at changing the rear muffler to the xr6/xr8 or GT/F6 so I get the twin outlets

Posted 27/02/11 10:34 AM Share Posted 27/02/11 10:34 AM I would not have thought changing the tip would give me this cheap nasty sound. The tips must be a piece of sh*t as after driving the car today they have turned yellow and have started to melt the bar!!I aint happy..Taking it back tommorow to get the stock one put back on.Having said that the stock one is yellow too and its only 800km oldWow,I hear this so bloody often its disturbing, the XR50's cop plastic end tanks and the exhaust tips tarnishing?wtf?my FG XR6T is 2 and a half years old and my tip looks like it just rolled off the floor,I reckon the mrs could do her hair in my end tanks and piping aswell
