Hi guys

I've seen it done but are there any side effects to running this kind of combo..heard comments about brake failure and problems with abs not working with rolling diameter differences greater than 3%..I was looking at a difference of at least 10% 235/35/20" front 265/35/22" rear on a BA ute:shocked:

Got 4.11:1 diff ratio:3gears:with 4 speed and vehicle also doubles as a tow car..changing rear wheels is easier than changing diff ratio

anyone with info offsets/and width would be great:beerchug:

I had no problems with braking/ abs any of that stuff when I had 22s on my ba, speedo was out by roughly 15km though iirc.

Also with the taller tyres my fuel economy was under 9l/1000km on the freeway.

What happened with your abs schmitt? Always wondered what it does to it.

Umm it was weird man lyk the abs would kick in an the brake pedal would go abit hard n get a vibrations through it. I think mine were 35 worm? An I wouldnt run 25 profile ino of a few blokes with 22s that had 25's, they kept splitting sidewalls

I have 275/30/20... 265/35/22 would be massive considering 245/35/19 are standard!

That means they have a higher profile (35% of 265 is more than 35% of 245) AND they are also 3 inches bigger in diameter! That's f*cking massive!!!

your right worm it's massive I did find an excellent comparison chart you could compare 4 different wheel and tyre sizes at once but I didn't bookmark it:bangcomputer:

You couldn't run 35 profile!!! Maybe 30... But 25 would be best...

I did try on a pair of 22"X8.5 with 265/35 they fit but the width and offset could be better

what offset for front/rear
