red rim? why not go with superhiro's then??? dontknow.gif

look almost identical. almost blush.gif

Main reason for not going 19's was for rubber. There are more options for grip in 18's than 19's and I really wanted to try out the kumho ku36 before going to a really expensive tyre for some track work.

yeah that's why I dropped down from 20's. 19's easier to get good rubber. I went ku31's. even in a short run today, grip is sooo much better in the wet.

btw I wish I had your brakes- they are killa!

Yes vid camera on the side and front. I think the best footage maybe from the Z on the day. Still trying my editing skills... Not going well at this stage. Short on time!

Price on the tyre/rim combo? I assume you went for 275's on the rear.

Look awesome mate.

Went 265 on the rear. Cost me just over the 2 k mark from memory. Give or take a couple a hungy. Got some other stuff at the time so can't remember exactly.

Not sure on Brembos but they were really helpful in making sure the ap's would fit before buying. Did a test fitment. Great service! The wheels look good and with still performance characteristics.

I was incorrect regarding my comments above on Brembos clearance.

I actually test fitted some Zumbo Yakos today (Front 8.5" x 18" with +30 offset), and they DID NOT clear my front Brembos. :buttrock:

Maybe my DBA5000 alloy hat sits a little fit further in than the solid Brembo or DBA4000 rotors....but I can't be sure.

This sucks as I really like the wheels and they are a good price.

The Black and Red AP brakes/car go really well together.

Nice wheels, always good to be able to fit some decent wide rubber.

Come Thursday I get my new 19s. 10" wide on the rear clad in some bad ass 295 Yokohama ADVAN AD08 tyres (possibly one of the grippiest 19" street legal treads):buttrock:

Can't wait!
