If you CBF'd replacing subs/speakers/amps, you may want to consider adding Dynamat to the rear parcel shelf.

I bought a wedge pack for $39 from ryda.com.au, but I haven't done it yet. Lazy me, it's sitting in the garage!

PS: I found this was an interesting bass track: Boston Accoustics Bass Test CD: Woofer Cooker.

It's hysterical. I play it on my laptop and don't hear any bass at all. Then plug in speakers and woah!

In the car, with the stock BFII premo sound, I get worried the rear parcel shelf or spoiler will wobble off. You can really hear the vibration, and that's what the dynamat is aimed to fix.

The easiest way is to run from your rear speakers so you don't mix up you L/R and +&- into you hi level and then rca into the new amp.

If you are running a new amp I would recommend a new power lead from the battery, don't take power from the standard amp as it will be insuffient and this will limit any anoying noises that can come from your speakers.

Kicker amps can accept up to 15v line in voltage, so if your handy with a soildering iron you can convert your speaker wires into RCA's and plug them in. Kicker make some great amps, and if you went 4 channel you could bridge 2 channels for a sub(s) and use the other 2 for the parcel tray speakers.

I run a sony xplod 15" sub off my stock ba amp (70wrms I think) and it rocks compared to the factory one or even the jbl replacement one in the stock position.

I just ran the speaker wires from the stock sub to the new one...

im stoked with the results
