The difference in power was more so from the new nizpro cooler over the hdi it made 17 rwkws at 2 pounds of boost less now 19psi and exhaust temps dropped about 30 percent from around 40- 55 degrees after a few back to back runs to the most with nizpro 34 degrees and average around high twenties. Also much better fitting cooler with the hdi rubbing pipework with radiator hose and side of water pipe on side of block.Another damming thing was I was losing around 15 to 25 rwkws between runs where as the nizpro was within 3 to 5 rwkws at most even after 5 back to back runs pretty impressive the only bad thing I found between the 2 coolers was with the bigger pipework the nizpro was about 15 percent laggier even with the boost coming as hard as possible. The first time I took the car to the drags was with stock auto and no race tune in box so car was only stalling to around 2000 rpm. And also only did one pass with bad 60ft of 2.199 the im sure the best I could of done was around mid 11 or just a touch under, this time my first pass was 11.5 128 mph 206 kph 2059 60ft with the car spinning half of second gear and only taking off at 1800 rpm. Due to me not heating mickey thompson radials enough but was happy due to the car doing it very easy and picking up 3 mph. The second pass did a better burnout and also held the handbrake lever as hard as possible stalled the car to around 2600 rpm hit the throttle hard but car bogged down a bit I then shifted early in second which also made car bog a bit then took of really hard after that it ran 11.2 129 mph 208 kph 2059 same 60ft which was poor, I was really happy with terminal speed should be good for a 10 very soon. not making any excuses but I think putting nulon octane booster in tank wasn't a good idea the car was definately laggier after I put it in since my car was only tuned with 98 ocane fuel I had a word with nizpro and they said that's propably wat caused it so I can only try it next time and see wat happens I could be wrong. My car is on you tube under fg xr6 turbo dyno run if you'd like to see the difference between the 2 coolers. Try let the MTs down to 14psi, and launch of 7psi boost. Just foot brake and watch the boost gauge. Its what I will be trying next! Posted 21/09/10 08:51 AM Share Posted 21/09/10 08:51 AM no idea. all I know is I never need to worry about detonation nor have to hear out for it. I havnt tuned my car to the limits where I have to worry and listen out for it.If you have to worry about listening out for detonation, IMO that's not a good sign. Now modifying the turbo and more power again should be a good run, dont run 14psi in the Mt's,run 15psi
