Police Cars & Undercover Cars Spotted Thread

I saw some local detectives in a subaru forester. Had magnetic strobe, but full siren and strobes behind the grill.

Also had a black VE hwp car infront today. He was shadowing a person of "middle eastern appearance" in a 180SX driving like a d!ck.

He was pulled over and the look on his face was priceless. I bet the car was unroadworthy and he had no license.

whats the go with taking photos of highway patrol officers and there cars I got a spending ticket last week and im still pissed about it

To cut a long story short ive been seeing a lot of highway patrol cars of late parked in silly places just begging to have photos taken of them and all of them are at the end of 50,70 ,90 zones

its making me angry seeing this I mean if these &*%$# are going to pretend to save lives by booking ppl for speeding at least bust ppl going into a lower speed zoneS not coming out of one into 100kph or as I seen today 80kph into 110kph the idoits hide just at the start of the merging lane where the the old princess highway joins from the southern fwy at water fall ive seen these idoits there a few times now

its only a matter of time befor someone runs up the ass of the highway patrol car

Interestingly on the F3 in Sydney it was an 80 zone during roadworks. Fair enough.Roadworks completed , bollards removed , lines painted etc.

Speed signs should rightly display 110 kph, however the 80kph remains in place with a dramatically increased HWP activity.

This has been a big discussion point on talkback radio today.

That said, yes it is wrong to speed where the limits are clearly posted, but I pose the question is this in the name of road safety or revenue raising ?

Thus far the RTA are refusing to comment on air Hmmmmm

I took the wifes new fiesta zetec for a little thrash on saturday afternoon, copper spotted me at 90 in a 50 zone and all he did was point his finger at me and kept going.

I would like to think he figured there was not a car or person around for miles and decided I wasn't hurting anyone in my zippy little girls car .....oh that's right im a misguided liar he must have just been in a rush to get to maccas.

Do you really think a blind eye is turned at 40 and over in the back streets. Why didnt you just wave him down and ask him?

At a good guess, the car wasnt fitted with radar, regardless if the antenna was hanging off the window.

My dads mate is a undercover copper, lives in Greystanes and recently has had his patrol car changed from a red VE SS to a FG XR6T with custom plates.. last saw it at night time and it was of a dark colour

Can some one please explain the process of police especially undercovers keeping their patrol cars at their house?..

Global Economic Crisis??? NSW police can still find the money to upgrade their squad cars from BF > FG F6 Typhoons and XR6T.

I heard one of the stations in western sydney recently got a bunch of Fg F6's and have started 'operation typhoon'. Not sure how true it is.
