If you have a brain, think about it. No cop is going to rev up next to you, actually drag with you until you speed, then throw on the lights. that's insane and is promoting dangerous behaviour, and putting the public at risk... not to mention the hypocrisy of it.

If the police car happens to cause an accident due to this behavious, how do you think that wil play out?

I never said it wasn't dangerous, stupid, etc.. But im not naieve enough to expect that it doesn't happen or that everything happens 100% by the book. It may be a very small percentage that do it but I wouldnt rule it out as a possibility. Their defence would be if you were prepared to race that time you'd have done the same thing to another car so you'd still cop it.

No point arguing over it, we both have differing opinions that are unlikely to change.

:buttonit: it happens around ipswich and brisbane too - they use modded cars and entice a race then the minute ya break the speed limit they pull you over and pretty much throw the book at ya

^for speeding or racing? What happens if you cease acceleration at the speed limit?

My original point is they cant nab you for excessive noise or racing, if they in turn are doing the exact same thing enticing you to do so, especially if in a loud Wrx as mentioned earlier here. chances are the wrx would be twice as loud as std turbo.

And cops fly backwards to.

I'm not a under 25 so called hoon, but I do own a reasonably quick car, I have had a undercover

car on two occassions tailgate me trying to make me go over the speed limit then pull out and pass me

trying to entice me.

On both occassions I have seen radar gear on dash board.

I had a unmarked police car blocking the right lane doing 90 on 2 lane old F3, went to pass them twice

on there left and both times they accelerated to stop me from doing so, the 3rd time I down shifted

ready for there games and made the pass, I found out after that they where D's and fined me for 120

in 100 zone and unsafe lane change. I had my brother in car as witness and also try to fight it at court

to which the judge said he would not beleive a police officer would do what they had done.

Must have been sleep driving and dreaming it had happened.

had another (Senior Sargent) pull me over for speeding, asked to see radar reading, to which

he said take the speeding fine or he would do a machinery on my car, of course I took the speeding

fine as it would have cost me more to get some smaller rubber and have a day off work.

Suppose they don't go through red lights for no reason with out lights or siren on either.

It must have been a dream as a early morning in brisbane city I observed this motor bike cop

do this on 4 sets of lights, I seen this as he activated the sensors at each one, to turn green for me as I approached.

which was good as I didn't have to stop at any red lights through on my way home after a hard night of work.

Another pair of D's decided one nigh decided to fine me for doing a exagerated speed to which I said I will see them

in court, guess what they decided to pull me over again within the next 1.5k's and gave me another ticket for

a even more exagerated speed.

Think they got a shock when I appealed it and they lost. Hope they got ther knuckles broken over it.

Most recently a Motorbike cop caught me doing 140 in a 110 by radar and came flying up behind me at a great rate

which I would have estimated to have been well over 140 and rode my rear bumper till I stopped, and yes it

crossed my mind, should I brake hard or not, would have got off with the speeding ticket, just lucky I'm not

a real crook or he may not be here today, that's if anyone hadn't done it since.

If you think cops dont do no wrong you are so full of it, just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't

mean it doesn't happen...

Off the grape vine NSW will soon be using a high performance VW. My guess was R32 but they stopped making them in place of the R20 which isnt due to AUS till the end of the year. R36, probably too expansive and Golf GTi impractical.

I have already been done by one of these suckers although not sure if it was a r32.. but it was the same shape at the cross roads at liverpool followed me all the way to narellen rd.. then pulled me over with another 9 cars.. lol cant pick these under cover cars these days..

Old friend of mine and I were cruising along northside one night and a black r32 pulled up next to us at the lights, started doing the whole wank factor thing, so we took off to the best of our ability (toyota corolla ftw) were going about 10 k's over and a marked car pulled out of a side street and pulled us over.

Thing that caught my eye was the r32 had pulled over as well, even though he was in front of us and was going a bit faster than we were. After we had a chat given to us and drug searched (noone understands long hair anymore) we started to pull away and I noticed a uniformed officer get out of the r32 and start having a chat.

Saw the same r32 doing the same thing next to me a week or so later. But I'd already learnt my lesson at that point ha.

This was last november ish by the way and I haven't seen him since the last encounter.

Regular BS that comes up on here

Usually the tell tale tail sign

Why on earth you'd want to pass a police car is mind boggling. And your readiness for there games cost you in the end.

Whats a machinery? Were you driving a tractor?

Suppose they don't go through red lights for no reason with out lights or siren on either.

Cant speak for the banana benders, but less siren as you creap up avoids the car you want from dissapearing.

They got paid to go to court and they should stick to detective work.

Most recently a Motorbike cop caught me doing 140 in a 110 by radar and came flying up behind me at a great rate

They dont have radar as there is no where to put it. And when your doing 140, physics says they have to do a little more to catch up to you. Even if it crossed your mind to brake and cause him to come off the bike, you deserve to be locked up like the crook you claim not to be.

If you think cops dont do no wrong you are so full of it, just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't

UNMARKED and why not pass a cop car doing 10 under the speed limit sitting in the right hand lane anyway.

And yes GAME!, ENTICE ME TO HAVE TO BREAK THE LAW

had another (Senior Sargent) pull me over for speeding, asked to see radar reading, to which

he said take the speeding fine or he would do a machinery on my car, of course I took the speeding

fine as it would have cost me more to get some smaller rubber and have a day off work.

Whats a machinery? Were you driving a tractor?

I will explain it very simple for you, a Machinery is when a cop serve's you with a defect notice here in QLD,

Well that's how it use to be, I havn't had one for many years so maybe they do something different now.

You have to that your vehicle to have a machinery report done for defects or modifications by the DOT, better

explain that as well to you D-Department O-of T-transport.

And no, if it was a tractor hell it must be one wild tractor to be treatened with speeding, something your

ride is not possible of.

Suppose they don't go through red lights for no reason with out lights or siren on either.

It must have been a dream as a early morning in brisbane city I observed this motor bike cop

IF only he was doing such a thing as heading to a crime, more like he couldn't be bothered stopping at red lights

as he was in a hurry to get Mac Breakfast.

Another pair of D's decided one nigh decided to fine me for doing a exagerated speed to which I said I will see them

Great laught this one, the brains of the cops getting handed a spanking.

And yes should be getting paid to solve real crime, not make crime.

Most recently a Motorbike cop caught me doing 140 in a 110 by radar and came flying up behind me at a great rate

which I would have estimated to have been well over 140 and rode my rear bumper till I stopped, and yes it

Shows how much you know then, must have pulled it out of his ass then, glad I didn't touch it when he showed me the reading.

So that makes perfect sense, Speeding puts life at risk and every K over is a killer gee he must have done many more

killing K's then me. two wrongs dont make a right. And it wasn't as if I was flying pass other cars, I was the one on the far righ lane

of a group of cars all sitting at near spot on to my speed, and me being in a tuff black AU XR8 compaired to there common import crap

was the reason for being singled out of the bunch. and you say I am a crook and deserve to be locked up ha, dont fart people you may get locked up.

If you think cops dont do no wrong you are so full of it, just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't

mean it doesn't happen...

I have its called earning enough money to keep the revenue raising scum fed.

Sounds like you are a cop or a want a be cop, if so go catch some real crooks or are you afraid they will hurt you.

I will say these have been a few bad apples in a bunch, you get your good and bad everywhere. I do have friends

who are officers and not bad people, but you do learn how they like to provoke people when they get bored.

How funny they think they are when they abuse there authority, but hay they are nice people socially.
