Are all of these different types of police cars, solely out there to pin everyone for a lil speed here and there. Couldnt they also be used to watch the local drug dealers in the childrens park or tail a bunch of crooks about to stick up your local servo??

A much bigger picture here being completely missed.

but they patrol the motorways day and night like mad max....

CLEARLY theres more money in handing out fines left right and centre then chasing 1 drug dealer for a few years only to save the streets of a few hundred grand.

While out on a motocycle ride with a rather large group, one of our finer members was pulled over by a VW Golf GTi, silver. This was on Beach road (melb).

She thought it was someone having a lend of her, so whe kept going. As most of you would know, a GSXR750 (k7) can accelerate alot quicker than 99.9999999 of cars, but she stopped and the copper pulled her speed down to something that did not require her to walk for 12 months.

that's why your State is inundated with low tolerant fixed speed cameras that post you a fine in the mail. Go and ignore these ones.

Green SS Sedan on the Monash...found out first hand a couple of hours ago...was sitting on 95 in the farkin 80 zone in the right hand lane with about 4-5 cars in front of me, including a black F6 ute, when he gets up on the inside of me a blares his sirens...I thought "here we go"....and much to my surprise, he only motioned for me to slow down....gave him the thumbs up and proceeded to do so, like all the others in front of me...he must've been one of the good'uns....

Not me but there was a Orange Typhoon in Campbelltown last night. Plates start BD something. Perhaps they traded in the XR6 Turbo which was the same colour & got a run out special.
