Jumping up and down threatening them that you'll take them to court, that you know your rights blablabla is going to get you no where.

Couldnt agree more *HINT*

Yeah, but Camry drivers hold the prestigous reputation of not being able to keep left, not being able to maintain a constant speed or drive as close as practicable to the speed limit, not being able to operate their indicators, not being able to keep their car within the lane markings, not being able to merge properly or give way, and having no personality in general. All of which can contribute to dangerous situations whether through their own inability to operate a vehicle properly or by causing such frustration with other people that they end up doing something risky/stupid to avoid said Camry "driver".

More the type of driver that tends to drive these type of cars that's the real threat here.

I owned an old but good condition camry v6 before the turbo. I had it lowered and on nice rims (I know, I know, why modify a camry? I needed something super reliable for a few years, and it certainly was, I just had to make it look better...the most boring years of my driving life) and on several occasions I was pulled over for no other reason than to check 'around' the car.. was in the right lane on an empty highway once as there was a few police cars pulled over on the left shoulder.... I moved to the far right for safety reasons... one of them promptly racede up behind me with lights and excessive show factor just to make me move back over. I was booked for speeding a few times in that car... it went surprisingly well....

Makes everyone else around you think that you have done something really bad.

Get a G6ET...almost invincible in these suckers :3gears:

Rapidly beccoming the mid-life crises car for blokes.

Oh I'm not going to deny that, never would bother trying to.

But the fact sitting at a gate all day pulling people over with older cars and utes that get brought out for one day a year, to pull them over is BS.

And it cant be denied up here that certain "periods" of the month they dont come out in full force, funny enough its always around the same times each year.... Just before the stats get drawn up.

Genrally they do RBT when all the pissed idots are out and about, sitting off pubs, clubs and the moralists are fine wit that one. Come the annual event with some charity focus and all the dodgy bombs that show up should be let go is what your saying.

Next xmas day will be of limits. . . that comes around each year too.

Nope dont mean the old bombs, I'm talking about the guys who had Ford GT40's who bring em out on rare occasions that have spent $1000s on engineering certificates all to get told by an officer that his car is too loud...

Same for a lot of guys with big money cars who bring them out on rare events, seems to be pretty bad around here dont know about down south.

Generally the charity events are pretty coolo down this way, sure there are a few cars that aren't exactly legal out on the cruise, but generally if everyone behaves themselves the police just sit back and admire the cars.

Like most things it has a lot to do with attitude - both of the public and the police...

Up here its becomming alot more harsh, alot of media sources are informing people that revenue is down so it tends to be alot of police involvement in charity events, public holiday events and the time of the month before the stats come in.
