In all honesty I like the ideas of undercovers and it has settled me down a bit..

I got pulled up a while back doing something stupid I explained the situation in truth and was let of light.

You dont be a wanker they wont be a wanker. Remember this they have to put up with seeing people die because of drift queens and drag racing on a regular basis.

Only thing that bothers me at the moment is the fact of knob shinners causing stuff... Adding stickers to there cars like "Enemies Everywhere" and wank tanks doing burnouts in carparks meaning that there becomes more heat on people with performance cars doing the right thing.

I got pulled over by two pursuit cars the other week and did a whole look over on my car whilst on Cruise Control sitting on 100km/h.

Asked why, informed of some wankers in HSV and a 6T street racing and making two cars get in a head on. There stupidity caused me an inconvenience. Only thing I urge from the Police to not class all under 25s with modded cars in the same book... Because believe me we arent.

there's a silver commie here in Darwin, never book me, I just get got by the mobile camera's when I'm trying to get to a shop before it shuts.

As for targeting young drivers....when I was much younger, the cops would follow me if they saw me and I'd get a visit to the courts ~ once a year, got done by unmarked cars a couple of times.

If I saw my younger self on the roads today I'd probably shake my head and get out of the way, I was very foolish, as were most of my mates.

the youth of today are no worse behaved than those of 20 years ago, yes the cars are faster, but they're a heap safer also. if you're a well behaved sub 25 male,

you're in a minority I don't blame the cops for targeting young drivers at all, how many old women do you see street racing?

Oh yeah, street racing is illegal, drag racing isn't, please don't use the terms interchangeably, unless you're after a job on today tonight......

^I call BS.

Modded WRX that you could hear? An illegally loud exhaust?

Inciting a race by revving their engine is against thier own laws. I have heard of them doing it, but you could only ever get booked for speeding not street racing or excessive noise. So no impounding.

So if an undercover cop approached someone to buy drugs and they did so your logic says the dealer could only be done for posession not dealing? Makes heaps of sense.

As a fellow Darwinian we know how fun it is around Darwin with the idiots and the Military Boys.

We have a lot of Undercovers here now too, and yes I agree with what you say too...

Off the grape vine NSW will soon be using a high performance VW. My guess was R32 but they stopped making them in place of the R20 which isnt due to AUS till the end of the year. R36, probably too expansive and Golf GTi impractical.

If you have a brain, think about it. No cop is going to rev up next to you, actually drag with you until you speed, then throw on the lights. that's insane and is promoting dangerous behaviour, and putting the public at risk... not to mention the hypocrisy of it.

If the police car happens to cause an accident due to this behavious, how do you think that wil play out?
