Had it happened in Adelaide? Would have been like this.

Hi all

Always have my headlights on when driving in the daytime (so people dont hit me). So I stopped at a set of lights a police officer pulled up beside me. Gave me a real dirty 'dagger' look. Traffic lane went into one so had to follow him, and contemplated turning off to avoid a defect.

Mate was comming the other way so gave him a wave but must of hit the light switch so it went on to Hi beam when following the police officer. Contemplate running again.

Lane change back to 2 and pulled up beside him at the red lights. Panicking. See the officers passenger window rapidly coming down and he points at me and says

Officer: Oi! your Hi-beams are on! Get it fixed or Ill defect you!

Me: Sorry officer about that.

Officer: Sorry isn't an excuse! Do you know how many people die from people having hi-beams on?

Me: Im sorry, Ill have it looked at.

Officer: Laughs, gets outta car, and defects me for no water in washer bottle and faulty hi-beams.

Full regency inspection, get f*cked over and lose out on loads of cash. Wife and kids cry cos they cant afford to eat or shower.

Not much of a story but it did f*ck my life.

Dan

Adelaide sucks.

I think if we drive around all day looking out for these cars then we'll never get from A to B.

I wouldn't be so much worried about looking for them, I'd be worried if I found this guy lined up next to me at the lights.

Lucky its not in Vic, but we just have to be careful and not do anything stupid on the roads. :spoton:

Write down the number plate and submit a complaint into the EPA for a loud exhaust.

Be on the lookout for Police with P plate's on their pinstriped 'undercover' XR's around Sydney's Eastern suburb's. Yes I am serious!

Our local copshop here in Cessnock has a couple of XR's and a XRT. Blue with orange GT stripes is the turbo.

I know one of the local coppers, have beers with now and then but before I knew he was a ham carter I began to tell him about my xr6T and what kind of speeds can be obtained from a stock T. Also told him about some of my overtaking menourvres.

He replied with " Have you seen the Turbo we've got gettin' around now?" And I'm like" Who" ? and he's like the unmarked cop car!

I could have died
