from what I understand it's xforce who make's them, or they bring them in and sell them. but it's a straight bolt up on a xforce, no mods needed to put it in.

My Asian mate had 1 of these on his evo,, he said it's the worst thing ever.. So coming from an Asian is has to be crap

I've heard only good things about them. Good to use on long highway trips to stop the noisey drone that you get with 3.5-4in exhausts.

The Varex muffler is not designed to sound good when the valve is shut, its meant to do its job of quietening the noise down which it does!

This would be awesome if there was a way to hook up an RPM controller to it so it stays shut under say 2000 rpm and as soon as it goes over it would be fully open. Would be a nice way to get rid of the drone in big exhaust systems

dont think its worth it unless you change the entire exhaust

got a mate with one on his wrx sti, he's running 280awkw, and it works a treat when he wants to make the car sound like a stocker. when it's open, fark it's loud, he's not running a cat or any other mufflers on a straight thru 3.5 inch system.

This is on both rear mufflers of all the Miami sedan variants (not neccessarily varex but certainly a PCM controlled active muffler system)

Christian had this on his supercharged fg pursuit ute, when he opened them it was very very loud indeed.
