Guest P'cisT Guests Posted 21/10/03 02:06 PM Share Posted 21/10/03 02:06 PM This is my first Falcon, but I have found it has too few compartments to hold your odds and ends. Surely, a few more would have been nice. eg next to the steering wheel besides the fuse box, etcI have no where to put my loose change for the parking meters even! On my AU the console has coin slots in the front - I can't directly remember seeing it in my son's ute but I can't imagine Ford would have not kept it in the BA.PS The utes have a fantastic loose change holder - I think you can fit close to 500 kg of coin in there - and some can carry up to a tonne  Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7057-lack-of-compartments/#findComment-59229 Share on other sites

If you dont have a drink bottle then you just close it up and it works just fine. Plenty of space for storage compared to other cars I've seen Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7057-lack-of-compartments/#findComment-59231 Share on other sites

About 10 years ago my dad used to do this. Smashed window and about $3 in coins missing soon stopped this practice.PS, the BA does have the coin slots in the centre console that Turbo6man mentioned.
