I've clocekd up 500km in the FG but the brakes still feel very wooden with lot's of pedal pressure but not enough bite IMO. Just wondering what have been other peoples experience wrt the number of km it takes to bed in the brakes on these babies? I guess this number will be very subjective given differences in driving conditions and driving styles. I live on the south coast of NSW so have been doing mainly country km and haven't been punishing the brakes much - although there was one quite hard stop required to avoid another car but this was after I had clocked up 500km. Thanks for any feedback. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/70527-fg-turbo-how-many-kms-before-the-brakes-bed-in/ Share on other sites

(normally this would cause no peddle), but yeah... Standard pads aren't real good.Benny Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/70527-fg-turbo-how-many-kms-before-the-brakes-bed-in/#findComment-1040503 Share on other sites
