Yes , ICC has filters when it detects the std premo amp

are u inending to use the signal going to the premo amp or out of the premo amp?

if u use the signal before it is only about .5V p-p not big enough to drive a monoblock so u wil need a PRE AMP to boost it before the monoblock

if you use the signal after the premo amp u will need a HI-LO converter such as the LC6i

the best way ist o disabe the premo amp (unplug it) and use a HI-LO convertor off the rear chanels

I was intending to use the signal going into the stock amp as a high level input for my mono, but

as you have pointed out when I tested the voltage it was peaking at around .3V.

So if I use a HI-LO converter such as the lc6i off the rear channels am I correct in saying It will not

effect my rear speakers which will be also using this signal amplified through a seperate amp?

are there any downsides to using a pre- amp if I wanted to choose that option and use the input before

the factory sub?

it only samples the signal. doesnt take power away from rears

1 big bonus of the LC6i is its GTO feature (Great Turn On)

what it does is when it sees signal on the rears it turns your amp/s on

(IE the 1 hour keyless play will work )

instead of hooking it up to ACC

yes u have no control of the X-over oint if you use the actory sub output
