The problem you are going to have is noise caused by ground loops, and therefore you want an amp or LOC with differential balanced inputs and this limits choice and drives up the price accordingly. Not really a DIY job unless you are reasonably skilled with car audio systems, I would suggest hitting up the boys on MEA for some advice, or getting it done professionally.
