Question I have is where do you get your cars serviced / tuned? proscott Member 7 Member For: 14y 9m 14d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane (Redlands) Posted 14/09/10 11:16 AM Author Share Posted 14/09/10 11:16 AM Thanks for the feed back fellas, I think rdp is a little to far and elite is also a bit out of the way, but if it doesn't work out I'll try elite next, Another member PM'ed me about a mob in Cleveland called BPS, I went to Bob Romano in Morningside 1st (is just 2 mins from where I'm living at the moment), got a quote for $350 for a service, I was there about 2.30 in the afternoon, the place was DEAD! no one in site.... and nothing happening in the workshop, I spoke to Chris seem fairly helpful but got a not really interested vibe from him.Then I went to BPS, James (seems to be the owner) was very helpful, made heaps of suggestions for the car, I got a much better vibe, so I booked in the XR6 for next week, 135k service $335 with a fully synthetic oil. James was telling me that the oil lines on the Xr6T to and from the turbo clog up easily, and quoted $160 to replace the lines with braided pipes and the serviceable oil filter in the turbo lines.... or something like that...
