It's certainly not bland with all that baby-blue lighting :verysad:

Yeah I think the proper way is to pump up your tyres cold, but mine are always warm when I get to the servo so just compensate for it with a bit extra.

I think rab is just trying to justify his own purchase. Poor little jealous boy-racers. :spoton: But then if he's talking about a G6E then yes they are a bit 'boaty', different suspension to the G6ET.

hey, bloody hard if you live a long way from the servo.

I did not know if Rab was referring to the G 6 E T or just the G 6 E, I`d like to see an XRT and G6ET line up to see if his claim is correct (`they [G6ET) don`t go as well`).

I`m off to a bowls tournament today and looking forward to meeting fellow G6ET`s owners, just finished ironing the cardigan and starching my hat. I always drive 10k`s below the speed limit to allow fellow road users the opportunity to see my car but more so so they can check out my bowls hat from the back window, I get lots of of admiration from other drivers, they often honk their horns at me and shake their arms out the car window at me, being polite naturally I wave back, I can never quite hear what they are saying, I think my hearing aid is playing up a bit.

Not sure what all the carry on is over the interior either - they're basically the same, only the colours are different. I prefer the extra support from the XR seats (and I have had GT-P seats for ages anyway). As for options, I think the fully electric driver's seat, ec rear view mirror and dipping passenger mirror on reverse are about the only differences.

Both great cars, both aimed at different target markets. Nuff said.

Did you end up throwing up some pics of your seats? Very keen to see how they turned out.

The XR interior definitely looks cheaper with its soft plastic buttons etc.

I think the G6ET still holds the faster published 0-100 time out of it and the T, so his claims are sh*t :spit:

As for the rest you're fitting in very nicely and sound like a worthy member of team grandpa.

I wanted to recapture my youth and not give into the "sales director" look ! so voted to buy a car for the under 50's ! :spit:

You can option the same ICC buttons as the G6ET - the XR luxury pack is probably my favourite of all the Orion range because of the matching colour from console finisher, tissue box, ICC surround, and top hat, plus the silver buttons on ICC and steering wheel. Pity I didn't get the luxury pack

so, is the 50th xr differnet to previous fg's ? I see the g6 has polished alloy looking ones. mine are fake CF but interior looks mint with the steering wheel and all leather buckets ! :buttrock:
