Ladders And Lockable Lids?

YES! I have never done it but, I have just ordered my XR6 ute. Somitmes I need to carry a 3mtr long channle. There were 2 ways to to it:

1: I have gone for hard lid with roll bar. I will make a steel platform which will clamp on to the roll bar using exahust clamps with the u bolts. I will then fit a Heavy Duty tow bar to the back and have a tee made that slots into the goose neck.

2: If you go for one peice hard lid, ford have accesoriy roof racks for the utes in the spare parts accesories list. Get one of them and then do the tow bar thing the same...............

well that's what I am gunna do anyway

yeah cheers mate im a 2nd yr apprentice sparky and wanna start doing some work (so I thinkin of getting a new ute probs a fg xr6t and work from that for now

and it will also be good for getting the horse food for the missus
