hi all

was wondering if people would like to share the best price they've been able to get, driveaway, for:

1. brand new sedan, auto (with premium sound); or

2. 2010 demonstrator, auto (with premium sound);or

3. 2009 demonstrator, auto (with premium sound); or

4. 2010 50th Anniversary sedan, auto

This might be a great consolidated thread to help people get a great price on their purchase

cheers

p.s. if this thread already exists (for sedans) please point me in that direction!

From what ive seen, you cant beat the 50th for value, but you wont get a discount, as they are already cheap. I did the ring around all over for my 50th ute and couldnt get any dealer to move on price.

I know you want sedan, but theroy is same. Rplacement value rrp of my ute (once all 50ths are sold) would be $54950. I got it for $40000. This is cheaper than a normal turbo ute.

You will find that demos will be about the same price a a 50th, but with no options.many dealers are hiding thier 50ths so that they can move thier old stock first, and will only talk about the 50th if the customer already knows about it. You may find you get a better trade on a non 50th model.

The other thing with a demo, the warranty normal starts on the first day of rego. so if you buy a 12 month ould demo, you will only get 2 years warranty.

not that popular this thread......

fwiw, a june build - stock std xr6t sedan was $41k neat DA business use.

Premium sound reduces your options of dealers because when ordering stock, you dont want to order stuff like premium sound when you will be competing for the sale versus cars that are stock.

Damn that seems cheap, do you mind if I ask what options it's got and where you got it from?

She's stock. Got it from Torque Ford at North Lakes. Forgot to mention that is ex GST so I think it was $36300 incl.

ETA - that was also in the $2k discount period late August.
