lol...grew up just a few km's from there. :icon_ford:

Another good one is on the calliope river road between Yarwun and the river. Was sealed and widened for lime trucks or something so is a good little track.

I'm curious why they dont feel planted at 200+? My old VX felt fine at 220 and that was still in 3rd, took a while to get there though. No where legal to take the XR for a top speed run, I would love to see what it could do. The bike feels rock solid at 260 and not much aerodynamics happening there. That was EC straight so all legal :spoton:

200 on a good bit of track and they feel fine - apparently 240+ it gets hairy and by the time the speedo needle goes off the clock things get pretty bloody floaty :spoton:

on a side note - what's with the didital speedo's on some jap bikes stopping at 300?

weird that theres reports of floatyness at 240+ . Had my R33(slightly tweaked) flat out at 165mph (about 270klms ) while playing with a audi rs2 a few years ago, neck and neck till 155 and then I pulled away but still felt fairly planted ! I would have expected the xr6t to be as good being a new car and bit heavier ... :spoton:

The needle on my busa goes past 300...tested.....:) who needs digital lol, my mates r1 (digital) went to 305 he said???

Back on to the t I had mine up to 240 and the skinny bumpy back road with big drains either side didn't seem so much fun after all lol, it was still going though till I pussed out:)
