Does anyone know what the diagnostics mode of the BA uses?

I have an OBD2 (on-board-diagnostics v2) interface for my laptop, which works on all sorts of cars including BMW's, Volvos, Mitsubishis, Toyotas, and even Taurus's and the new Focus.

But it doesn't seem to work on the BA!

It's an OBD2 connector allright, just it must use a weird protocol or something, or perhaps the pin-outs are screwy.

If anyone can find out (I dunno, use some contacts inside of FoMoCo or something, perhaps a techo or lead mechanic somewhere?) to find out what the diagnostics component is, that would rock.

Also, if anyone knows how to put the ICC into diagnostics mode, that would be awesome as well.

They'd HAVE to have something like that - even the EL had a full diagnostics mode...

Maybe something about Australian cars - because couldn't get the OBD2 working on the HSV I was playing with the other day either! :(

bah!

Librandragon... I don't think I really need to make something that bad worse, do you?

After all, it's really not as much fun blasting the doors off a car that you know that is sick...

It's like punching a cripple, ya know?

Much rather punch the cripple when he's just pretending... heheheheh...
