Matt the prices I got when buying mine were: 245/35/19

T1R $345, Adrenalin RE001 $590, Goodyear asym $560, Yoko Sdrive $505, Yoko Advan $405, Advan AD08 semi's $575

Dunlop sport maxx, $645!

Im thinking a set of 18's with AD08's for circuit and drag.

wait you live in perth!

Pm "slash" he will get you tyres cheap as chips an top of range! he sved me $200+ for 2 Toyo r1r!

Slash you say... I will PM him now. Im not too concerned over price as work pays for my tyres, just want to make sure im getting good rubber for the price. In saying that if I save them a few bucks maybe they will be less concerned when I hit them up for new brake pads and a set of new front discs...

Are the Sdrive a better tyre than the Advan? I thought the Advan was top of the range

yeh if you have a set of dedicated track rims there are some pretty sweet racing tyres around that I would love to try, prob a bit soft for reg road use but would be fun on the circuit. Think I might start saving.

Keith, I assume you have 18's if your running R1R's? Would love a set of those but they dont come in 19...

I'm onto my second set purchased from tirerack.com for only $190USD ea. back when the exhange rate was in the 90c range.

Freight was only $200.

Saved me about $1000 and I couldn't be happier.

How did you get them to ship to Australia? I checked, but didn't go all the way but it looks like they may only ship to US or Canada? Anyway, I've sent them an email to ask about it as well. Thanks :buttrock:

That's correct. Just email one of the reps directly.

They will give you the exact total and freight costs in USD.

The only hassle is I had to pay via international money transfer at my local bank when you get their payment details as they dont take credit card.

Yep, here is the reply I got and prices are in USD$

The tires are priced at 149.00 each and these are the quotes from Fed Ex :

FED EXPRESS (1-3 DAYS) - $ 473.97 SHIPPING METHOD FIP

FED ECONOMY (3-5 DAYS) - $ 329.77 SHIPPING METHOD FIE

QUOTE FOR 4 TIRES SHIPPING FROM USA TO AUSTRALIA .

For payments we only accept bank wire transfers.

I'm gonna ask them, but what does FIP and FIE mean anybody? :dontknow:
