Zf 6 Speed - Stronger Innards

I just noticed. Ford is updating the guts of the ZF 6 speed auto for the Coyote V8. Check this out:

"The six-speed ZF 6HP26 automatic gets upgrades to its clutch pack and gearset to improve torque capacity. The final drive, too, has been upgraded to handle more torque, although its ratio remains unchanged."

These innards will no doubt make their way into some of the ZF boxes behind XR6T's??

The ZF upgrades include new 7-plate clutch pack and 4-planet planetary gearset for improved torque capacity.

How far off are these improvements compared with the improvements you do and teach to be done to the current generation of ZF's?

That will bring it inline with the Fg F6 which has 7 but you need more!!!!! OK for the 350FWkw's but not enough for RWKS.

No change to tyre size. Hope that doesn't mean width. Without wider tyres this will be very disappointing.
