that list is from 2004 and isn't accurate.

Last I heard was that there will likely be between 950-1000 cars not the 1000s in that list. In any case we will find out in a couple of months

That is ridiculous.

They have cars up to about '07 in that list, how can it have been made in 04? Or do they get special previews...

I wish it was for PC :'(

Steve, Your more than welcome to come round! Manho getting me a G27 for $393 which is cheaper than everywhere now.

Actually that raises another question.. If a mate was to bring over his wheel etc could you play two player or is this worth it as they'd just play online together? Go karting looks fun but!

I'm 100% noob at gaming and have never even played a PS2/PS3. Played COD on mates xbox once or twice which was fun but I've never been into it.

I have wireless net in my room but will the PS3 be wireless or will I have to get a dongle / cable?

This is similar to what I'll try and make. Those wheel stand / stations look a bit flimsy??

You guys think you'll be able to mod cars?

I wonder if you can do burnouts?? Imagine modding an F6 and just cutting nuts at the 'ring!

Yeh I was looking at them but are they really worth $200??

Where can u buy them locally.

I guess I answered one of my previous questions...

"My Lounge

A Private Space for Close Friends Gathering Online

In Gran Turismo 5, every player has their own "My Lounge" racing room prepared for them online. This is a private room that only your "Friends" set through the PlayStation®Network can enter.

In My Lounge, it is possible to set race regulations and tracks of your choice, and hold racing events with your friends. Up to 16 players can participate in the race, and even if you are not in the race yourself, you can watch it through a variety of race cams. You can also participate in free runs before the start of the race.

Imagine this: You set a time for a race using the messaging feature, and then wait for people to arrive while you race free runs on the track. Your friends start to join one by one, and once everyone’s arrived, the race can be started. Friends that showed up later can watch the race and chat.

In my lounge, you can wait while watching current races through the live cameras, provided with a large variety of different camera angles.

You can monitor the lap times and best section times of participating friends, and of course you can also chat by voice or text.

You can watch the race from exciting views, as if you were in the race yourself."

Bombed!
