Pat assured me it will last a long time. His comment was "will last until after you sell the car" though I won't be selling mine if I can help it so he might have unknowingly overstated! hahaha. I do lots of highway so I expect these will probably go 100,000 if I'm civil. 50 thou at least is my understanding. A tip was to have washers put against them to help stop them being cut into by the metal on the car.Now I'm not technical so bear with me while I try to remember. I ordered the 3 bushes at the rear, centre diff and side control blades? At the front I have control arm bushes, except will be using stock rubber ones for "where the shock bolts to the arm" as that keeps ride comfort. Luke confirmed he wishes he kept his as normal rubber. Also got ball joints for the front on Pat's advice (the small boxes). I have about 5% knowledge on where these parts physically go, until I help Luke fit them in a few weeks...ask Pat (senna_t) about this stuff, he's the in house specialist!

Do doubt you will have a qualified opinion on all the bits once you try them out. Money is not my middle name right now so I just want to do the important bits.ThanksChris

Should have held off and ordered them when Luke pointed it out. Actually that wouldn't have mattered as the front still has to come out again! The steering rack bushes are shot so I get a clicks as I turn the wheel...very annoying. House payments make saving hard going so The rear 3 bushes are yet to go in! Luke did say the rear isn't too bad...yet.The bushes really REALLY reduced brake shudder though let me tell ya, fantastic. now I just need some flat rotors - I think having such godawful bushes in the front so long helped to warp the DBA4000 slotted rotors. So to sum up the front and back still need to be dropped to have more bushes put in! Thanks for making me update the progress though, been meaning to but never get around to it.Have put some Nitto Invos on the rear, same size 235/45/17 as the KU31's before... I really want to take it to the strip to test them out and get a better 60' and ET but the shot rear bushes concern me. Suspension is in dire need of replacement as well, car is over 150 thousand km old now! Edited 24/01/12 12:19 PM by -SteveR-

I'm fairly pleased with the life, but I was running them at like 40PSI and grip is not mind blowing. Dropped to 32PSI for last cruise and it was a bit improved as you'd expect. But hey, street surfaces aren't exactly uniform grip levels so you get what you're given.Have put them on the fronts now, a fairly new pair of KU31's are on the rears so it will be interesting to compare the grip levels and see if I'm looking back through rose coloured glasses at the grip the KU31's offer me.Right side (small pics are clickable)Left side

Hahaha. Not as easy to get the focal length right with the Galaxy S2 in macro mode, have to focus on flat surface and then guesstimate where the wear indicators are or it just liked getting foreground tread. Cheers though! I'm glad the edge wear doesn't seem to be there, yet...The KU31's have seemed slippery on the fronts, might need to get a proper shop like Wilkinson to look at it and make sure it's set up correctly for my purposes and for peace of mind.
